The greatest comeback in European Football history has been achieved as Barcelona have over turned a 4-0 first leg deficit to beat Paris Saint Germain 6-1 on the night and 6-5 on aggregate in their Champions League last 16 tie in Spain.

The Catalan giants achieved the amazing feat with effectively the last kick of the game, as Sergio Roberto looped Neymar's assist into the roof of the net to cue incredible celebrations at the Nou Camp.

Brazilian Neymar may have won the Olympic Final for his country, but his contribution in this game was even more impactful.

Barca were 3-0 up by the 49th minute once Lionel Messi found the net and they just required one more goal to level the tie. However Edinson Cavani's away goal for PSG just after the hour mark looked to be a fatal blow to the home team's chances.

It meant Barca needed 3 goals without concessions to qualify for the last 8.

Neymar made it happen.

In the 88th minute he curled a brilliant free kick into the top corner.

In the 90th minute he sent goalkeeper Kevin Trapp the wrong way from the penalty spot after Luis Suarez was felled in the box.

And in the 95th minute, Neymar produced a magic ball, a delightful chip into the area from where Roberto swooped.

Paris Saint Germain have allowed the impossible to occur. They bottled it. All that money spent over the years and their project is in flames.

Barcelona may have the Galacticos of the modern era, but they retain the character of a great club and this was undoubtedly one of their greatest nights.

If you were at the Nou Camp and left early, you don't deserve to watch football!
