Kilkenny are the All Ireland senior hurling champions for the 35th time.

The Cats beat Tipperary in their replay at Croke Park by 2-17 to 2-14

The Power brothers, Richie and John, did the damage, with 2 goals in 4 second half minutes around the hour mark. 

A Seamus Callinan goal helped the Premier County to a 2 point lead at half time, but Colin Fennelly made his mark as Kilkenny reeled off 5 points in a row at the start of the second period. 

Callinan goaled late on, but it was too little too late, and Kilkenny have the League, Leinster and All Ireland titles in their locker. 

Remarkably, it's a 10th Liam McCarthy Cup win for black and amber manager Brian Cody

He told Championship Sunday presenter Paul Collins there was no epic speech at half time...
