Manchester City are the only club from the top six in action on Saturday so Pep Guardiola’s side have a chance to open up a five point lead over second placed Liverpool, who play Everton on Sunday. City are already into the last 16 of the Champions League and December could be the month the champions pull away from the chasing pack.

City have already scored 40 league goals this season and history would suggest they’ll add to that tally tomorrow against Bournemouth. Bournemouth's three Premier League visits to the Etihad Stadium have ended in defeats of 5-1, 4-0 and 4-0. City have only trailed for 12 minutes in the league this season and that was when they fell behind to Wolves, a game that ended in a 1-1 draw. Lyon have caused City problems twice this season but it would be a major shock if Bournemouth leave Manchester with anything other than a defeat.

We’ll have commentary from the Eithad Stadium with Ian Beach and Clinton Morrison and as always Mark Lawrenson will join us in the first hour of the show to look back on the European football and look ahead to the weekend’s Premier League games.

Arsenal and Republic of Ireland defender Louise Quinn will be this week’s guest in the Boot Room. Arsenal have made an unbeaten start to the Women’s Super League and face second placed Manchester City on Sunday.

Premier League Live with Sky Sports on Today FM from 2-6pm.
