The EPCR has confirmed the dates and times for the Champions Cup semi-finals.

Munster will be the first of the Irish Provinces in action. They will head to the Aviva Stadium on Saturday the 22nd of April to take on defending champions Saracens at 3.15pm.

Around 24 hours later Leinster will take on Clermont Auvergne at Matmut Stadium de Gerland in Lyon. Kick off is at 4.00pm local time, which is 3.00pm Irish time.

Munster have reached the European Final on four occasions, but their last appearance came when they beat Toulouse to lift the trophy nine years ago.

Leinster have won on each of the three occasions they made the final. The last of those was in 2012, when they defeated Clermont Auvergne in a semi final in France to join Ulster in the only All Ireland final.

There are high hopes that Munster and Leinster will go head to head for the trophy at Murrayfield this year, but the Bookmakers consider it a 4 to 1 shot.

A Clermont v Saracens pairing is considered the most likely at odds of 6/4. 9/4 are the odds of Munster reaching the final, but not Leinster, while the odds of Leo Cullen’s men playing Saracens in the final are 7/2.
