Djokovic through to seventh Wimbledon final

Defending champion Novak Djokovic will face Italian Matteo Berrettini in the Sunday's men's final at Wimbledon.

Djovokic was a straight sets winner against Canada's Denis Shapovalov this evening as he reached a seventh final at SW19.

The world number one will be seeking a 20th Grand Slam title in what will be his 30th major decider.

"I don't think the scoreline says enough about the performance and about the match," the Serbian top seed said after his win against Shapovalov.

"He was serving for the first set and was probably the better player for most of the second set.

"I would like to give him a big round of applause. This has been his first semi-final of a grand slam. You could see he was emotional. We're going to see a lot of him in the future, definitely.

"Particularly at this stage of my career, the Grand Slams are everything really. I have to balance that with trying to be present and in the moment and focus only on the next match."

Queens Club winner Berrettini has become the first Italian to reach the showpiece at the All-England club , following his three sets to one victory against Poland's Hubert Hurkacz
