With the host crashing out of their own Rugby World Cup, England supporters have a tough decision to make. Who are they going to get behind for the knock out stages?
English accents have been a feature in the green clad crowds at the matches against Canada, Romania and Italy, but most of these have roots or were attending alongside Irish friends and family.

Getting the English Rugby Fan on board is a different matter. So what are their options?
With Wales progressing at England's expense some may find it hard to get behind Warren Gatland's men. Australia, France and Argentina are off limits. Like Kilkenny, neutrals nearly always want to see a shock defeat for favourites New Zealand. Scotland may not get beyond the quarter finals.
So like the World Cup 2023 bid Ireland and South Africa seem to be the contenders. Paul O'Connell has been quick off the mark. Sitting beside Joe Schmidt the Irish captain made a good pitch after the narrow win over Italy.
