Goodison Park is considered one of the great old grounds of the Premier League.
Everton have been playing at the venue for 125 year, but they have announced plans to leave their historic home.
The Toffees have agreed to purchase a site on Liverpool's waterfront, with the view of building a new £300 million stadium.
They will be moving around two kilometres from their current base to the Bramley Moore former coal dock at the side of the River Mersey.
Everton have had three failed stadium projects since the turn of the century.
They intend to pay for this project themselves, although Liverpool City Council will act as a guarantor to help secure the necessary funding.
