Ireland rugby coach Joe Schmidt was remaining grounded following Ireland's 23-16 defeat to Wales in the Six Nations Championship in Cardiff.

Ireland could have brought some tents into the Welsh 22, as they were camped there so often in the second half.

The pressure came to nothing, and Scott Williams' try gave Wales the match winning advantage.

The permutations going into next weekend are as follows:

Ireland, England and Wales all have 6 points. Points difference will decide the destination of the title if all teams finish level on points.

England are +37 ahead of their meeting with France.

Ireland are +33 before the trip to Murrayfield to play Scotland next Saturday.

Wales will take on Italy with a differential of +12.

Schmidt said he wasn't going to 'throw the baby out with the bathwater' in changing everything for Scotland. However, the Kiwi knows it's a case of what might have been with the Grand Slam now no longer a possibility...
