If you look at pool B of the Cricket World Cup you'll see Ireland sitting in third place on four points. Phil Simmons side made it two wins from two but it was a bit too close for comfort against the United Arab Emirates.

Ireland won by two wickets and with just four balls to spare but it all added to the drama as they eventually chased down their target at the Gabba in Brisbane.

It all started pretty well for Ireland who won the toss and chose to bowl but a century from Shaiman Anwar (106 off 83 balls) gave Ireland a tricky target of 279.

Ireland's reply took a while to get going but a 74-run partnership between Gary Wilson and Andy Balbirnie helped start the recovery and then Kevin O'Brien came in to hit 50 off 25 balls.

Alex Cusack and George Dockrell got the remaining 12 runs required to see them over the line and next up is South Africa next Tuesday.

Today's match was the first of this tournament to go down to the last over, it was arguably the match of the tournament and it also involved one of the most bizarre incidents you'll see in cricket:
