The first Irish derby of the new Guinness Pro 12 season is down for decision at the Sportsground on Friday. Defending champions Leinster travel to Galway to take on high flying Connacht. The Westerners are the only Province to win their opening 2 games. They currently sit third in the table and are aiming to beat their Eastern neighbours first time in 2 years.

Jamie Heaslip is impressed with Connacht's start to the season and regards them as slight favourites for this match. The Leinster captain was speaking at the launch of the MaxiNutrition online shop. He helped his side bounce back from their opening defeat to Glasgow by putting in a man of the match performance during the six try victory over Llanelli at the RDS.

Heaslip told Today FM's Ross Lindsay that the Leinster squad still have a lot to work on.
