Arsenal were 5-0 winners against non-league Lincoln City yesterday, cruising into the last four of the FA Cup, but it's done little to erase the pain of yet another hefty Champions League defeat.

The Gunners were dumped out of the competition in the last 16 once again by Bayern Munich on Tuesday, capitulating in the second half to lose 5-1 at the Emirates Stadium, for a 10-2 aggregate hammering.

If the calls for Wenger to leave when his contract expires at the end of the season were loud before that game, they became deafening on Tuesday night. However Wenger is remaining tight-lipped about his future.

Mark Lawrenson and Brian Kerr joined Philip Egan on Premier League Live yesterday to give their thoughts on the Frenchman's prospects, and while both were in agreement that while Wenger will go down as a Gunners legend, they feel the time is right for him to walk away, before his legacy is tarnished.
