It's just five days and counting until the huge World Cup qualifier between the Republic of Ireland and Wales at the Aviva Stadium on Friday.

And looking ahead to the game, we broke down the contest with Premier League Live's resident Irish-Welsh due, Brian Kerr and Ron Jones, who were on duty for us at Stoke v Chelsea yesterday.

Kerr thinks a draw is on the cards and feels it would be a good result for Martin O'Neill's side, while at the same time putting a huge dent in the Welsh hopes. However, he does caveat that call by saying a plan has to be made to deal with Gareth Bale.

Likewise, Ron says Bale will be the key man on Friday. If he has a big game it could be enough for Chris Coleman's side, but if the Irish can mark him out of the match Wales will be in trouble, with Hal Robson-Kanu and Sam Vokes "much of a muchness" up front, and unlikely to change the game.
