Liverpool v Crystal Palace
Liverpool started the season with a 3-3 draw away to Watford last week and it was evident once again that they still have problems defending set pieces. Crystal Palace have won their last three league games at Anfield, including Steven Gerrard's last home game as a Liverpool player in 2015 and a few months later they also handed Klopp his first defeat as Liverpool manager.
Christian Benteke scored both goals in Palace's 2-1 win away to Liverpool last season and the former Reds striker has scored five goals in his last three games at Anfield. Frank de Boer's first game in charge of Palace ended in a 3-0 defeat at home to Huddersfield which was not the Premier League welcome he would have hoped for. Wilfried Zaha misses out for Palace with a knee injury while Liverpool are without Barcelona transfer target Philippe Coutinho once again due to a back injury.
Ian Beach and Brian Kerr will be at Anfield for us and former Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler will be our guest in the Premier League Live " Boot Room ". Fowler will look back on his first goal for Liverpool in 1993 so that will be on the show just after 5.30.
