It's Day 2 of the World Athletics Championships in London, and for the Irish competitors, it's been a mixed bag.
It started brilliantly, with Brian Gregan rallying late on to secure his place in the semi-final of the 400 metres.
The Dubliner finished third in his heat, running a time of 45.37 seconds, which is the fastest time of his career.
Gregan will be back on the track tomorrow, for the semi-finals.

There was disappointment for Mark English however.
The former European bronze medallist was a fifth place finisher in his difficult 800 metres heat, failing to qualify for the next round.
The Donegal man crossed the line in a time of 1:48.01, more than a second back from qualification time.

Tomorrow is a busy day for the Irish. As well as Brian Gregan's 400 metres semi-final, Olympic finalist Tom Barr runs in the heats of the 400 metre hurdles at 11:05.
Mick Clohisey and Sean Hehir go off in the men's marathon just before 11am, with Leevale's Claire Gibbons McCarthy starting the women's marathon at 2.
