Conor Murray says there is an extra buzz in the Munster camp as they build towards their European Champions Cup opener against the Sale Sharks.

The 2006 and 2008 European Champions head to Manchester on the back of Pro 12 wins over Leinster and Llanelli, and will want to keep the momentum going for next week's match against Saracens at Thomond Park.

Sale currently lie third from bottom on the English Premiership table. The 43-10 defeat to Northampton means they have won just 2 of their opening 6 games. They have described this game as their biggest in 10 years and are expecting a record crowd at their new home the AJ Bell Stadium.

Conor Murray is reading little into the Sale's recent record. The Munster scrum half told Ross Lindsay he is expecting them to put in their best performance of the season.
