O'Neill and Cummins in line for Shamrock Rovers debuts against Sligo

New signings Gary O'Neill and Graham Cummins are set to play their first games for Shamrock Rovers in tomorrow's SSE Airtricity League Premier Division clash with Sligo at Tallaght Stadium.

Hoops manager Stephen Bradley says both are adapting well at the club are in contention to be involved against the Bit O'Red.

“Neil Farrugia is still a bit away and we’ll have to look at Aaron McEneff today to see if he can be involved against Sligo.

"There’s a few knocks from Monday night but nothing major. Neil is a bit frustrated because he can’t train. Gary O’Neill has been training away and getting to know how we play and Graham Cummins has been in since Saturday.

"They’re three good lads, they’re fitting in well and I’m looking forward to getting them on the pitch.”

Rovers will kick-off tomorrow's game eight-points adrift of leaders Dundalk in the title race and Bradley insists they won't be underestimating Sligo.

“Sligo have shown this year that they can beat anybody on their day. We’ve got to expect the best Sligo possible to show up in Tallaght tomorrow. We’ve got to be ready for that but impose our game on them.

There’s loads still to play for, we’re fighting on three fronts so there’s an exciting second part of the season to come.”
