Newcastle finally got their first win of the season last weekend at the 11th time of asking, which moved them out of the relegation zone. Rafa Benitez is loved by the Newcastle fans because he stayed with them when they were relegated to the Championship. The former Champions League winning manager guided the club to a tenth place finish last season and the hope was to build on that. However nothing is ever that straight forward at Newcastle, especially with Mike Ashley in charge. Benitez finds himself in a situation where he knows he won't be backed in the transfer market until a new owner comes in so it's a case of who goes first.

Bournemouth won 1-0 at St. James' Park last season thanks to a late Steve Cook goal and the Cherries will be confident they can pick up another three points on Tyneside. Eddie Howe's side are sixth in the table despite last week's injury time defeat to Manchester United. Bournemouth have won their last two away games, scoring a total of seven goals in their wins over Watford and Fulham. Callum Wilson scored his 50th goal for the club last week and since then has been called up to the England squad.

Newcastle and Bournemouth will be the feature game on Premier League Live with Sky Sports which gets underway at 2.00 here on Today FM. Adam Lindsay and Ray Houghton will be in the commentary box at St. James' Park. We'll have reporters at all the other games and Mark Lawrenson will join us in the first hour to look back on the Champions League action and preview the weekend's games, including the Manchester derby.

Irish football legend John Giles will be this week's guest in the Boot Room to look back on his international career, both as a player and player manager. John made his debut in 1959 at a packed Dalymount Park where the Republic of Ireland came from 2-0 down to beat Sweden 3-2.

Premier League Live with Sky Sports on Today FM from 2-6pm.
