It sounds like the script of a Hollywood movie but it's true. Robbie Keane's employers LA Galaxy have some competition looming. It's in the form of LA FC a new soccer franchise planned for the 'city of angels'.
None other than Hollywood actor Will Ferrell has been named as one of the co-owners of new Major League Soccer franchise Los Angeles FC.
Cardiff chairman Vincent Tan is also part of a 26-strong ownership group.
LAFC will enter the competition in 2018 and will play in a purpose built 22-thousand-seater stadium.
Ferrell says his involvement in the franchise IS serious. He's a funny fella as you'll see in the official report marking the club launch!
