Ireland coach Joe Schmidt has made 14 changes for Saturday's World Cup warm game against Scotland at the Aviva Stadium. Mike Ross is the only player to retain his place from last weeks win over Wales while Jack Conan will make his international debut at blindside flanker.

Simon Zebo who scored a try as a sub last week starts at full back while Tommy Bowe and Luke Fitzgerald are named on the wings. Gordon D'Arcy has a chance to impress in the centre alongside Jared Payne and it's an all Leinster half back pairing of Isaac Boss and Ian Madigan.

In the pack, Dave Kicoyne, Sean Cronin and Mike Ross are in the front row with Dan Tuohy and Devin Toner forming the second row partnership. Jack Conan's in the back row with Chris Henry and Sean O’Brien who'll captain the side from number 8. Paul O'Connell is named on the bench along with the uncapped Nathan White.

There was also some positive news on Andrew Trimble after a second scan revealed the foot injury he suffered in the win over Wales last week isn't as bad as first feared. The Ulster winger is expected to resume training next week and could feature against the Welsh at the Aviva on August 29th.
