Shane Williams may be Welsh Rugby's record try scorer, but he thinks Ireland have the best half backs.
The winger, who toured with the British and Irish Lions on three occasions, believes it would be easy for his old boss Warren Gatland to select Jonathan Sexton and Conor Murray for this summer's tour of New Zealand.
Williams was speaking ahead of his appearance on the 'The Toughest Trade' TV show which airs at 9.30pm on Wednesday 1st of March.
Swapping the oval ball for a Gaelic ball, the 40 year old spent a week with the Glenswilly senior footballers, while Donegal's Michael Murphy tried his hand at rugby with French giants Clermont Auvergne.
Wading into the GAA's Super 8 controversy, Williams described the move as a 'disaster' in a tongue in cheek Tweet, for which he blames Michael Murphy.
While having been impressed with Sexton and Murray's performances against France at the weekend, he feels the Irish number 9 and 10 are in pole position to start the Lions tests against the All Blacks.
