Tomorrow, Cork City and Dundalk meet in the FAI Cup final for the third year in a row, with the Leesiders looking secure a league and cup double and Dundalk hoping to add to their EA Sports Cup success from earlier this season.
To mark cup final weekend on Premier League Live with Sky Sports, we decided to look back on one of the memorable recent finals in The Boot Room, with Conan Byrne joining us in studio to discuss his cup success with St Pat's in 2014.
Liam Buckley's side faced Derry City in a repeat of the 2012 decider, which was won by the Candystripes, consigning Pat's to a seventh cup final defeat since their last success in 1961.
But in 2014, they finally ended the 53 year wait, with two Christy Fagan goals sending the cup back to Inchicore.
Byrne joined Philip Egan live in studio to talk about one of his favourite football memories, as well as looking back on a dramatic 2017 season for Pat's, and previewing tomorrow's Cork-Dundalk showdown.
