This week on Premier League Live we welcomed Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler into #TheBootroom, where he looked back at his first goal for the club, way back in 1993.
It was also Fowler's debut, a League Cup third round tie against Fulham at Craven Cottage, which the Reds won 3-1. Fowler capped off the scoring late on with a stunning left foot volley.
"It was one of those ones where you could have caught it and it could have gone anywhere, but lucky for me I caught it really sweet, and as soon as it left my foot I knew it was going into the goal," he says.
"It was such a good strike, without sounding egotistical. It was a great start to, for me, what was a fantastic Liverpool career," he says.
Fowler went on to score five times in the second leg against Fulham, rattling the net 183 times for Liverpool in two spells at the club.
