The Tyrone senior football management and players have hit back at claims they are a cynical team in advance of Sunday week's All-Ireland semi final against Mayo at Croke Park. The county will appeal bans handed to Martin Penrose and Conor Gormley in the hope they will become available for selection.

In the style of Rafael Benitez, Tyrone issued a 'fact sheet' at their press night - with 10 facts. Among them they state that Tyrone have been fouled 10 percent more than they have fouled this year and that Sean Cavanagh has shipped one foul in every six that the team has received.

Mickey Harte told Paul Collins that Tyrone does not condone, let alone coach, fouling in any way, shape or form. He also spoke about Sean Cavanagh.
