Premier League Live with SKY Sports will kick off at the earlier time of Noon this Saturday on Today FM, as we bring you two live and exclusive commentary games.

For Irish fans of Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool, there’s a real treat in store.

Presenter Phil Egan will be in the chair to talk to former Republic of Ireland manager Brian Kerr ahead of coverage of Manchester United v Arsenal, which kicks off at 12.30.

It’s going to be a fascinating clash not only of the teams, but of the managers, as Jose Mourinho goes head to head against Arsene Wenger.

The Gunners are six points ahead of United in the table, but Mourinho has never lost a league match to Wenger.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is suspended for the showdown, while Arsenal are hoping Alexis Sanchez will be available after playing for Chile in midweek.

Man United v Arsenal was the game that dominated the early years of the Premier League.  Between 1996 and 2004, the clubs shared 9 titles between them.

Don’t miss Ron Jones and Brian Kerr’s commentary of the first game from Old Trafford.

Then after Brian and resident expert Mark Lawrenson review the early game with Phil and reflect on the Republic of Ireland’s World Cup qualifying campaign, it’s off to St Mary’s for our second live commentary between the leaders Liverpool and Southampton.

Reds fans are beginning to dream that a first title in 27 years could be possible.  They will be hoping boss Jurgen Klopp can work his magic with Sadio Mane, Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino only recently back on Merseyside following international commitments.

Seven wins from nine league games have propelled Liverpool to the top and our commentary team of Ian Beach and former Republic of Ireland defender Gary Breen will call the shots for Southampton v Liverpool.

Between 5pm and 6pm, Phil Egan and Gary will look back on the day and the football issues of the week.

It’s a bonanza of the beautiful game on Today FM this Saturday.
