Liverpool are wasting no time in the transfer market with the news that Danny Ings will join from Burnley on July 1st.
The club confirmed last week that James Milner will move from Manchester City and Liverpool fans seem happier with that signing.
What can they expect from Ings?
The 22 year old scored 11 goals in 35 appearances in the Premier League last season but Burnley were still relegated.
Burnley only scored 28 league goals all season and Ings also ended the campaign with four assists so he had a hand in more than half of their goals.
Liverpool only found the net 52 times in their first season without Luis Suarez and injury to Daniel Sturridge didn't help their cause.
Steven Gerrard was their top scorer with only nine goals.
Ings may not be the " marquee " player Liverpool fans were looking for but he could prove to be a good signing and they also have Divock Origi to arrive from Lille.
They can't be any worse than Mario Balotelli, Fabio Borini or Rickie Lambert.
