After all the talk of sweepers, systems and blanket defences in this year's hurling season, this Sundays clash between Galway and Munster champions Tipperary has the makings of one of the games of the season. While there's unlikely to be much space for the forwards both teams have the capacity to get goals. Galway look to be motoring well and appear to have moulded their attack into a unity of purpose that would give many defenders sleepless nights.

Which ever side has the greater capacity to get points from midfield or the half forward line from distance looks set to be on course to book a final place. Such scores keep the scoreboard ticking over until the game opens up in the last quarter.

Given the hurling heritage of both counties it seems unlikely that we will see 14 lads cramming in behind the ball in their own half. We've seen some of that this season with negligible benefits. Bring it on! David Collins and Padraic Maher will join us for Championship Sunday this weekend and ahead of the match have also been speaking to GAA.ie.
