Manchester United's draw against Bournemouth may have been overshadowed by the incidents involving Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Tyrone Mings, but it does overshadow the fact that United have now lost yet another chance to gain ground on the Premier League's top 4.

For the 7th time this season, United have been held to a draw at home, and while the point they've earned against the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal may come in handy, the points lost against the Burnley, Stoke, Hull and now Bournemouth could prove to be the difference between making the Champions League or the Europa League.

Brian Kerr joined Philip Egan yesterday to talk about United's top four hopes, and said he believes that Jose Mourinho does have the squad at his disposal to remain competitive in the Premier League, FA Cup and Europa League for the remainder of the season.

But while the Europa League represents a second route into the Champions League for Mourinho, Kerr feels they need to tread carefully, and not put all their efforts into one competition.
