Manchester United will be without their top scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic for their next three domestic games. The 35 year old has accepted a three match ban for violent conduct for an elbow on Bournemouth defender Tyrone Mings during Saturday's 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.

Ibrahimovic struck Mings towards the end of the first half not long after the Bournemouth defender stood on his head. Both players stayed on the pitch but both were charged by the FA. Mings has until 6.00 this evening to respond to the charge although he is set to appeal, with the FA stating his offence is worth more than the standard three-match ban.

Ibrahimovic has scored 26 goals for United since arriving from Paris Saint Germain in the summer. The Swede is in the squad for Thursday night's Europa League last 16 tie first leg away to Russian club FC Rostov. However he'll miss next Monday's FA Cup quarter final away to Chelsea as well as the Premier League games against Middlesbrough and West Brom.
