Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been a big hit at Manchester United since his summer move from Paris Saint Germain. The Swede has scored 26 goals in all competitions this season, including two in the League Cup final win over Southampton last Sunday.

The 35-year-old signed a one-year deal with the option of a further 12 months and there's talk that he wants to stay at the club until 2019. The 6 ft 5 striker has proved very popular in the dressing room and he's certainly a fan favourite. Ibrahimovic has scored 15 of United's 38 league goals this season which isn't a bad return for a player that some thought was way past his best. Sure he's lost a bit of his pace but his physicality in the penalty area makes up for that and it also helps that he's a technically gifted footballer.

Jose Mourinho knew exactly what he'd be getting with Ibrahimovic from their time together at Inter Milan. It's great to have a striker that will be probably score more than 30 goals this season but he's not getting any younger. With Wayne Rooney likely to leave at the end of the season, Mourinho will have to bring some more attacking options in the summer. The squad will be even stronger next season so I wonder if Zlatan will be a regular or if he'd be happy to spend some time on the bench. That's a converstion for Mourinho and Ibrahimovic to have but why wouldn't United want to have him in their squad next season.

United have become very hard to beat under Mourinho and are still in with a chance of winning the FA Cup and Europa League having already lifted the League Cup. They're at home to Bournemouth at the weekend so I expect them to win which would leave them in fifth place on Saturday evening regardless of what happens in the Liverpool and Arsenal game.
