Adele’s first album since 2015 has been delayed, it seems.

She dropped a heavy hint that her next album will be staying locked away until 2021 during an online chat with fellow musicians.

The Insta Live story was beset with technical problems that interrupted the conversation, leading the British singer to comment: “Come on, it’s 2020 – we ain’t meant to get what we want!” with many interpreting this to suggest her album won’t be released until next year.
