Did you watch the first episode of First Dates Ireland last night? Did you see Amy? How cruel was that!
If you missed it, Amy from Wexford met Darryl from Kildare for their date in the First Dates restaurant. To say their date was going well would be an understatement. They seemed the perfect couple. After saying in her opening piece that she's never had a boyfriend, we all had high hopes. Then it came to the moment when 'the awkward question' is asked; "will you be going on a second date?".
What happened next was heartbreaking. Well he said no & the old "let's be friends" line.
