Every year Big Brother starts, I swear blind that I’m not going to watch it because it’s full of loolas but….it’s one of those guilty pleasure things isn’t it and somehow I always get sucked in. So, it was launched last night and I gave in and just agreed to watch it (and stayed up waaaay past my bedtime).
So, 18 contestants went in last night, which I think is the best bit because you get to see them all shaping around to the camera. Anyway, the first guy in turns out to be Marco Pierre White Jr, son of Marco Pierre White, he looks like the is going to be an interesting character alright – I don’t want to make too swift of a judgement but he came across like a bit of a plank last night. There’s a set of twins, loads of models, some reality TV stars, a millionaire, a former BBC journalist and very few ‘regular people’.
This year definitely looks like it’ll be juicer than previous years because there’s actually 2 houses – one house of housemates and another secret house ‘The Others’. Basically, the others are there to make the housemate's life a living hell and to try and win themselves a place in the real house! They’ve also revealed that some of The Others are known to the housemates – ex boyfriends, ex-girlfriends etc. One of the others is a guy called Hughie, he is 21, he lives in Dublin and he is a youth worker. We haven’t seen much of him yet but he certainly seems to be outspoken…
The one thing that made me laugh is that all the housemates said that they hate attention seekers……yet all of them seem like the most attention seeking people in the world.
So, since rapper Professor Green’s marriage to Made in Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh ended in February, she has moved on and is dating again but now, Professor Green seems to have done the same and apparently, he’s dating our own Vogue Williams! The two of them (and their dogs!) were seen out and about for Sunday lunch in a London pub. So, watch this space!
More new love news! The word on the street is that Ellie Goulding and Prince Harry are getting cosy! Yes, they were seen getting close to the singer at a polo game and according to onlookers, they were ‘all over each other and ‘sitting on a blanket together’. This isn’t the first time the rumours have surfaced – these two have been been connected before and Ellie performed at Harry’s 30th so I don’t think there is anything in it - I’d say they’re just friends having a cuddle!
There has been a lot of talk about Liam Payne from One Direction and Cheryl Tweedy’s romance – she had just split up from her husband Jean Bernard when they first got together and there’s the ten year age gap too! But, they do seem to be very happy together and Liam Payne’s bandmate Niall Horan has backed this up with some very interesting comments. When talking about the couple he said:

She's a great girl, really fun. He's a top man and one of my best friends.
She seems happy, he's happy, so I'm happy for them.
