Declan O’Rourke played a secret warm up show last night and it turned into an amazing night so, we are really looking forward to tonight’s gig. I was there in a purely professional sense of course, just to make sure I didn’t miss anything and I wanted to stay to the bitter end to make sure I caught all the action, y'know? I’m so dedicated like that really. It was originally supposed to be just Declan but by the end, there was a medley of performers on stage including Paddy Casey’s 19 year old daughter Saoirse who is an amazing talent. Declan, Mundy, Paddy and Wallis all took to the stage and performed separately and then together and let’s just say, I’m very excited for tonight’s gig. They did their own songs and they did some really great covers including a lovely tribute to Bowie.
Christopher Maloney was the fifth member to be evicted from the Big Brother house last night. Can I make a little confession, I’m really missing that show while I’m here in Austria! Don't tell anyone right?! The former X Factor star said he was relieved to be leaving and went on to dish the dirt on housemate Gemma, calling her a intimidating and admitting that he was a little scared of her. In the meantime, Big Brother pulled another surprise and put nutritionist Gillian McKeith in the house last night to access the ‘digestive habits’ of the housemates. I won’t say exactly what she’ll be doing but you know what she does…..and she has asked housemates for a sample to examine…PUKE.

The actors who became TV’s favourite gangster couple - Aoibhinn McGinnity and Tom Vaughan Lawlor AKA Trish and Nidge in Love Hate are set to star in TV3’s 1916 offering. The drama Trial of the Century begins filming this week and is described as a courtroom drama which offers a hypothetical look at the trial of the rebellion leaders if they had not been executed and Tom will play Padraig Pearse. It’ll be great to see them back on screen together.
The rumours have been circulating for the last number of weeks but it’s looking more and more likely that Beyonce might be expecting her second child. She’s been photographed looking a bit rounder in the belly department and I think it’s a little bit more than a burger in there. The rumours have started again after she was spotted using a body double on her latest video shoot. The double seems to have been used on some of the video’s more demanding scenes and close ups. We’ll see….
