Mariah Carey has a diva meltdown and announces that she ‘ can't sing in front of these fans'. But it’s not what you think. The singer has a bit of a reputation for being a diva and she certainly lived up to it last night, at her show in Amsterdam. First of all, she arrived 45 minutes late and when she did come on stage, she threw a bit of a strop about fans blowing too much air in her face. She stopped half way, starting giving out about them blowing in her face and that she had to do everything herself. Somehow, I really doubt that.
This weekend, everyone was talking about Beyonce’s brand new visual album ‘Lemonade’ which dropped on Saturday night. So, there’s 12 songs on the album with collaborators including Kendrick Lemar, The Weeknd, James Blake and Jack White. But now that everyone’s had an opportunity to have a good listen, there’s a lot of speculation over the lyrics and their meaning. Some of the songs suggest that Jay Z may have been unfaithful, in particular referencing a potential mistress ‘Becky with the good hair’. There’s been a lot of talk about a fashion designer Rachel Roy, who was reportedly at the centre of 'lift gate' but Rachel has addressed the rumours after getting bombarded with nasty tweets over the weekend. She tweeted yesterday that
‘I respect love, marriages, families and strength. What shouldn't be tolerated by anyone, no matter what, is bullying, of any kind.’
So, for Game of Thrones fans, the wait is over. Season 6 has arrived. For those of you, who didn’t manage to stay up until 2am to watch it, you can catch it at 9pm tonight on Sky Atlantic. Now, I’ll be honest, I don’t watch Game of Thrones but I know that your resident showbiz guru Paula MacSweeney is a big fan so I feel I owe it to her to mention it. Apparently, the finale of the last season left a lot of questions so fans are hoping that they’ll be answered. Now, I know Ed Smith stayed up to watch it and he seems very happy about the whole thing so that’s a good sign.
