Turning down Avatar wasn't his wisest move
Matt Damon has revealed that turning down the lead role in Avatar cost him a load of money. A quarter of a BILLION dollars, to be precise. James Cameron offered him 10% of the profits if he accepted the part of Jake, which he turned down and Sam Worthington was cast instead. Avatar made 2.56 billion at the box office.
Emily Bishop will be making a return to Corrie in a week! Emily Bishop is 87 years old and left Corrie in 2016 to travel to Peru to help her nephew Spider with his charity work. She now lives in Edinburgh and the journey to Weatherfield would be a bit much so she’ll be sending a video message to Ken Barlow to wish him a happy 80th birthday!
Fair City is starting beef with Baldoyle FC! In a recent episode, Damien and Wayne were talking about a soccer game where Damien missed a penalty because the Baldoyle goalie was moving during a penalty shoot out. The club uploaded the clip to Twitter, saying The club would like to deny claims in a recent FAIR CITY episode that our keeper moved during pen shoot out. Sour grapes!
