He's the new co-host!
Matt Lucas has been announced as the new host of The Great British Bake Off. He will replace Sandi Toksvig and will co-present the show with Noel Fielding. The show launches in the autumn.
Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson have tested positive for coronavirus. They are in Australia where Tom is filming an Elvis biopic, and he stated on Twitter that they had begun to experience symptoms and got tested to find that they had the virus. They will isolate and cooperate for as long as they need, and update as they go along. Get well soon!
Ed Sheeran’s mam Imogen has set up a project to encourage primary school kids to get into singing. Ed has talked before about how he was miserable in school until he learned guitar and started singing, and Imogen says that the company has a goal of ensuring that every pupil sings regularly, because it is hugely beneficial for children’s social and mental development. Imogen is juggling this with her work as a jewellery designer so she’s busy.
