Picture this ….you’re on a bike cycling through Central Park on a crisp New York day, you’ve got your bicycle shorts on, you’ve got the wind in your hair, you’ve got the pretzel in your pocket and you’ve got…..Bono cycling along beside you. Yes, one lucky U2 fan could win the prize of a lifetime! I heard this before Christmas but they seem to really pushing it this week.

So, Bono is offering to fly one person out to New York , be put up in a 4 star hotel and enjoy a leisurely cycle through the park with the superstar AND an ice cream at the end of it all! It’s all to raise funds for the charity Red and the fight against AIDS.  Fans can enter the contest by donating money to RED. Each time a person donates, they earn a certain number of ballots - A $10 donation will get someone 100 entries, $100 will get 1,000 entries and so on

 They are heading in One Direction – Splitsville. They keep saying it’s only a temporary hiatus but it’s growing more and more unlikely that the band will get back together.  According to a source, they didn't ‘renew their recording contract’ and are headed for a permanent split. Meanwhile, apparently Harry has let the handbrake off and is enjoying indulging in the more calorific treats after 5 years clean eating and detox diets to keep in shape.

So, the Oscar nominations are out at 1.30pm today and I’ll be bringing you all the details tomorrow morning but more importantly, the annual Razzie nominations were released last night and it seems the 50 Shades of Grey is leading the way. The Razzies celebrate the WORST of the years cinema. 50 Shades of Grey is up for 6 awards including Worst Picture. It’s not all bad though, they also have a ‘Redeemer Award’, the category that honours the artist whose accomplishment in film has redeemed their previous Razzie award or nomination. This year’s nominees include Will Smith, Elizabeth Banks and Slyvester Stallone who won the Golden Globe for his performance in Rocky spin off ‘Creed’.

 64 year old airport worker Steven Kelly was just going about his business, singing away at work when something amazing happened. Justin Bieber was boarding his private jet when one of his drivers heard Steven singing and reckoned that Bieber would be fond of him so invited him onto the private jet for a private performance. Justin loved the performance of ‘My Way’ so much  that when Steven cheekily asked if he could go on stage with Justin, he said it could be arranged.
