PRIMAL SCREAM FORCED TO CANCEL SEA SESSIONS
Indie rockers Primal Scream have been forced to cancel their Sea Session live show in Donegal after frontman Bobby Gillespie suffered a horrific fall during a gig in Switzerland.
Gillespie had to be flown back to the UK in an air ambulance after cracking a vertebrae when he fell from a speaker stack at the Caribana festival on June 2nd. Ash have agreed to stand in for the Scottish rockers on June 25th. Primal Scream have cancelled all gigs until mid August.
NIALL HORAN IS A PHILANTHROPIST
Since One Direction took a break from music Niall Horan has become quite the philanthropist. He was out in the tux last night in London at the KP24 Foundation Gala. He has set up a golf agency and recently joined golfer Justin Rose as they enjoyed a game of bowling with sick kids to raise funds for a cancer charity.
KYLIE TO SING AB FAB MOVIE THEME TUNE
Kylie Minogue has recorded ‘Wheels on Fire’, the theme tune of the BBC sitcom. She recorded the song in a secret studio session and Ab Fab writer Jennifer Saunders was keen to keep her involvement under wraps, just like all the cameo roles in the film.
The movie will be released on July 1st and is based around Eddie and Patsy escaping to the French Riviera after shoving Kate Moss into the Thames.
DOLLY PARTON RENEWS HER WEDDING VOWS
Dolly Parton has been married to her husband Carl Dean for five decades. The couple who tied the knot in 1966 recently celebrated their Golden anniversary with a private renewal ceremony in Nashville, Tennessee.
Her husband has shunned the limelight over the years but gave his first interview at the event. When asked what he thought when he first saw her at the Wishy Washy Laundromat was ‘I’m going to marry that girl’, my second was ‘ Lord she’s good looking and that was the day my life began. I wouldn’t trade the last 50 years for anything in this world’
The country superstar recently kicked off her Pure and Simple Tour, her largest North American tour in 25 years.
