Saoirse Ronan received the International Star award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival awards this weekend which recognises an actor or actress who has achieved both critical and commercial recognition across the globe throughout their body of work. When accepting the award, she joked that since she received an award from Ryan Gosling, everyone can now pronounce her name. (Remember Denis Quaid’s SEESSHA?!)
She also presented an award to Cate Blanchett who joked

Jay Z has his eyes on One Direction’s Harry Styles. (So does Kendall Jenner wha?!!) Apparently, the rap mogul has big plans for Harry’s solo career. Jay Z reportedly said that Harry doesn't need any help with exposure because everybody in the world knows who he is, but reckons he does need to make the transition from being part of a group to becoming an individual artist.
He thinks that by teaming up with him, he can connect Harry to huge artists, the biggest producers and have him as the biggest artist in the world within a year. Big words Jay Dizzle....
Movie star Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus who dated for five years, ended their engagement in 2013 but the rumour mill has gone into overdrive after they reportedly spent New Years together in Australia. Now, usually I don’t believe those ‘reportedly’ stories because they generally come from a ‘source close to the star’ which means made up BUT there is actually photographic proof of the pair hanging out together so maybe it actually is back on. They were spotted at a New Year’s party with Liam’s brother Chris and out and about getting dinner. LUVVLY!

Celebrity Big Brother is back! Another year, another group of celebrities lining up to get into the Big Brother house. The show launches on TV3 tomorrow at 9pm and the 15 housemates have been revealed . It’s a ‘who’s who’ of……who?!! There’s the usual few super tanned reality stars like Gemma Collins from TOWIE, Christopher Maloney from X Factor (Remember 'Songs For Me Nan?!) and David Gest but there are a few other names you might recognise like Angie Bowie, Jonathon Cheban (Kim Kardashian's best friend) and Kristina Rihanoff from Strictly...I may or may not watch it.
