The craic continues here in Bad Hofgastein. We headed along to The Festalm again last night for our 'Strictly Come Dan-SING' event and the atmosphere was BRILLIANT! It was exactly what you think it is, some dancing, some singing and all the contestants were playing for a grand prize of €1,000. Nice one. It turns out that we have some pretty talented listeners out with us.

Darren Meade from Dublin opened the show with a energetic performance of Sweet Caroline. We had singers and dancers from all over; Denise Cronin from Cork, Tony Cahill from Dublin, Jennifer O'Shea from Clare and loads more.

But the winner on the night was the extremely talented Seamus Ryan AKA Famous Seamus or as Paul Collins named him last night 'Leggy Ryan'. He impressed the judging panel with his stage presence, his showmanship and his feet of flames. Seamus headed home with €1000 in his back pocket, not bad for a night's work wha?!

After a little detour to the local kebab shop on the way home, we hit the sack and were ready to rock again this morning. Ian caught up with Rebecca from Dublin whose claim to fame impressed the crowd - she was an extra in Love/Hate and played Trish's bridesmaid when she married Nidgey. We also got caught up with on site barber Stephen from Waterford who owns his own salon in Limerick and he gave Iano a little trim live on air. Happy days.

So, we're heading off to the Poc Fada this afternoon which will be great craic and we're looking forward to catching up with Wallis Bird on the show tomorrow. We'll also be announcing the lucky winner of the trip out here so one Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show listener will be flying out here TOMORROW! It's all very exciting.

Chat to you tomorrow from 7am!
