Aaah, sick days. Remember those rare but wonderful occasions that you'd be granted a guilt free day off school? You'd be allowed bring the duvet down to the couch, mope around the place and drink copious amounts of flat 7up. But sick days from school also meant you'd get to catch up on............DAYTIME TV / RADIO.
For Ian, the soundtrack to his sick days was the opening bars of 'Dear Frankie', the agony aunt who'd solve the nation's problems. Mairead remembers being forced to watch Pebble Mill and for Shauna, it was the trashy daytime chat shows like Ricki Lake and Sally Jesse Raphael.
Anyway, Ian put it to the nation and the amount of responses was STAGGERING. Take a little trip down memory lane....
