Saturday 11am to 2pm

What better way to wake up on a Saturday morning then with a brain teaser. It’s simple really, all you have to do is guess the year based on the music and clues given in the Classic 9@11.

I love when listeners share their personal memories from the year: marriage, confirmation, first car, exams etc. I encourage all my listeners to try a Google free guess!

The rest of the show continues with a mix of Today’s best music and favourites. I also like to keep up with Twitter in Phil’s world of Twitter where I read the best of the week from the like of Dara O’Briain, Jonathon Ross and Conan O’Brien amongst others. TV also gets a bit of coverage at least once a month when Avril visits the studio with news of the latest shows to hit our screens.

Every Saturday I like to recommend a classic movie. It doesn’t have to be a new one or even an old one. One that you may have overlooked. Despicable Me, Crashed, Schrooged and The Princess Bride have all featured. Whether it’s Sky Movies, Netflix or the local video store I hope I can recommend a true stay-at-home classic to accompany your popcorn and drink! Staying in, it’s the new going out.

If you’re a better person who fancies the odd flutter then our Betfair charity bet is for you. Barry Orr is the man who has managed to bag us several €€€€ last year for our chosen charities!

Sunday 1pm to 4pm

This is three hours of solid hits. Whether you’re at home or in the car I will play a tune for you. Just text 53102 or email live@todayfm.com for a Cawley’s Classic. To finish of the show we head for the 90s in the last hour with Phil’s 90s mixtape and it’s totally democratic: YOU help me compile the selection throughout the show.
