Tonight and all this week, Paul McLoone will be playing tracks from 'Debut', Björk's first studio album.

The Icelandic recording artist received widespread critical acclaim for her album which brought her to the fore of the world's stage. 

Released in the summer of 1993, it featured some glorious songs such as 'Venus As A Boy': 

Co-produced with Nellee Hooper, this album launched Björk's hugely successful solo career following her split with the Sugarcubes. 

The last single released from 'Debut' was the standout 'Violently Happy" with a mesmerising video directed by Jean-Baptiste Mondino.
