George Martin described by most as the Fifth Beatle passed away today. His influence in popular music is widespread, having given The Beatles their first break. He produced a wide spectrum of bands from The Beatles, Ultravox, Jeff Beck, Bacharach and comedy classics from Peter Sellers. 

Paul McLoone will be playing songs that were produced by him all night on the show. 

It was because of Martin's input strings appeared on 'Yesterday', which McCartney wasn't initially in agreement with. The rest is history.
