Hard Working Class Heroes is upon us, the festival set across Dublin venues showcases some of the best in emerging music talent from Ireland.

The Line-Up this year is comprehensive to say the least and features some of the acts that The Paul McLoone Show has featured on air and indeed in the Paul McLoone Sessions.

If you are in Dublin this weekend here are some acts taking part in the festival that come highly recommended.

Thursday 1st October

Maud in Cahoots - The Grand Social 10.50 - 11.20.

Maud in Cahoots comprise of Dublin sisters Maud and Zoe Ní Riordáin, Stephen Markham and Alan Connon, they were one of the surprise acts of Electric Picnic. Paul has been playing their latest single 'Cure for The Crazy' since it's release.

Friday has a plethora of acts that we recommend. Here are the top picks.

Carriages - The Workmans - 10.00

Carriages are promising big things, having recorded for The Paul McLoone Sessions a few weeks ago, their unique style and Aaron's voice make for a truly remarkable live experience. Don't miss!

I Have A Tribe - The Workmans - 10.40

Patrick O'Laoghaire aka I Have A Tribe, is something of an enigma, he too came in and recorded for The Paul McLoone Sessions recently and will captivate you with his hypnotic melodies.

Saturday 3rd October

Neon Atlas - 9.20 The Mercantile

Cork band who released their second album in July, riffy guitar pop.

Jennifer Evans - The Workmans 10.40

Jennifer Evans, one of the finest, most distinctive emerging Irish female vocalists, she has new single, 'Bakkos' being released at the start of October 2015. She will surely round off the HWCH festival in style.
