Paul McLoone has chosen Roxy Music's 8th and Final album 'Avalon' to be his pick of the week. Did you know the album was 90 percent written in Crumlin Lodge Sligo? Ferry had been staying with his future wife Lucy Helmore in the lodge. The house has subsequently been destroyed in a tragic house fire.

Avalon came about because of Ferry's desire to create an entire album with a singular story. He created Avalon from a series of poems he had. The aim to create something magical and romantic.
