The Who guitarist Pete Townsend managed a dig at Kanye West as they closed Glastonbury last night.
Kanye said that he was the world's biggest rock star (see video below for possibly the worst singing ever broadcast since the 2014 Today FM Topflight Ski Trip)

To huge cheers, Townshend pointed out that the title surely belonged to Elvis Presley. Watch Kanye make a gobshite of himself singing Bohemian Rhapsody:

Shayne Ward pulls family from car wreckage...and then tells the world about how great he is.

He rushed to the aid of the family in Manchester on Friday – he pulled a child and her dad from the vehicle and led them to safety. He’s now urging fans to help find those involved so he can see how they are. Le sigh.

Taylor is in town tonight – and she gave a fan free tickets to her sell-out show. A South African fan travelled to the UK to catch Taylor in concert but there were delays on a British Airways flight and she missed most of the concert, only getting the last 3 songs. So she tweeted her, gutted. Taylor said, if you can get to Dublin, I’ll buy your gig tickets. And she did! See you tonight Tay-Tay!

Miriam for the Aras?!

Alastair Campbell, a British journalist best known for his work with Prime Minister Blair, was a guest on Saturday Night with Miriam and asked the presenter of her intentions to take over Áras an Uachtaráin.

She wouldn’t answer him but it’s widely reported that she will run for election in 2018. Gird your loins, Aran an Uachtarain – Miriam and her 8 kids are a-comin’!
