Park Place Technologies Will Fill The Roles Over The Next Two Years

70 new tech jobs are to be created in Cork over the next two years.

Park Place Technologies has announced it's to open a new Operations Centre in City Quarter in Lapp's Quay.

The organisation is looking to hire Customer Service Specialists, Support Analysts and Advanced Engineers.

These include Customer Service experts with experience dealing with enterprise to consumer customers consuming data center technology; Support Analysts with multi-lingual skills, and an aptitude for data center products such as storage, servers, and networks; and Advanced Engineers with in-depth knowledge of all major OEM data center technology such as HPE, IBM, Cisco, NetApp, Dell, Dell EMC, 3Par.

Nicola Buckley, from Park Place, says gaining access to Ireland's talented workforce was one of the key reasons behind the company's decision to locate here.

"The primary attraction to opening this Operations Centre in Cork, aside from the geopolitical positioning in EMEA, is the access to the talent profile needed to support our ongoing growth."
