Aer Lingus Worker Due In Court For Smuggling Immigrants Into Ireland
An Aer Lingus worker who smuggled illegal immigrants into the country through Dublin Airport will be sentenced this afternoon.
63 year old Frederick Cham from Hazelhatch in Co Kildare admitted helping seven people come into Ireland illegally.
He says it was a "mickey mouse operation" for a bit of fast cash, which he spent on pints.
The offences took place in December 2016 and January 2017.
