Dail Committee Considering Dress Code

A Dail Committee is to examine the dress codes of other parliaments to see if the Dail will adopt one.

At the moment, Dail rules simply state that TDs should dress in a way that reflects the dignity of the House.

Some TDs believe the move is a reaction to the wearing of Repeal slogan shirts by members of the Anti Austerity Alliance and People Before Profit TDs.
